Nice
do you have picture of this cooking in action?? im intrigued. Wanna see the barrell and fire... and stuff
I have pictures of individual stages of the process on my PC.
I'll find and post them.

Basically You are supposed to bury the filled pot in embers, but doing it like that hinders any control over its contents state - which is why everyone stuffs the pot with fatty content as all water evaporates very fast.

I do it differently which allows me to check for fluids and I can cook very lean meat like a whole rabbit and loads of veggies (yesterday).

Cleaned it

Gonna BBQ it over embers late PM today.
If you like carp, come fish Houghton Lake, Higgins or Saginaw Bay. Fresh water drum are easy to catch in Saginaw Bay. People here think those are garbage fish, but do know people who target them, say people do not know what they are missing.

Fish stories aside I'm rounding up stuff to weld a zero turn mower belonging to my honey's daughter .Snapped the drive wheel housing off ,terrible job of welding .It's a Grass Hopper mid deck .I would have thought they could have done a better job for the price of those things .Never fear when old Al burns some rod it will never break again in that spot .

They take 55 gallon drums full or carp out of Houghton Lake bow fishing at night.
They should be glad they have that high a population of it.
I was surprised by the good taste of it with just salt rubbed on, it is a tasty fish.

How have you been Randy?

I was at my upstate property (50 acres in the Catskills) over the weekend with various family members including my nephew MechanicMatt.

He used the 261 you ported to take down a dead Sugar Maple while I used the 462 to drop a dead Cherry. He raved about how much power that little saw has! I had previously used both saws to wack up a sick Ash tree.

I'm good my friend. Just staying busy. I'm real glad he likes the 261. One of my favorite saws too.

I've been lucky with my teeth. Still have all of them (including Wisdom teeth), but one molar is capped.

On Monday I had a cavity in a Wisdom tooth below the gum line. They talked about pulling it (they don't like working on them) but I told them no.

The filling went "very routine". Numbing that tooth did not even make my lips or checks go numb. Glad I made the decision I made. I have no issues with my Wisdom teeth, but they always seem to want to pull them anyway!

I have an issue with clenching my teeth. I've done it since I was a kid. Over the years I've damaged a few of my molars.
