I did not even think about checking the ph. It would be interesting to know.

Are you worried about the milled wood shrinking and cracking?
It’s been drying a while now almost a year. I must say it is far from perfect with twists and bows on almost every piece. There are gaps between the top plate and the stud on most but it works. I didn’t want to shell out 500$ to finish what you see in the pictures so I said F* it, I’m gonna use what I got from the pile good or bad. Worst case I’ll tear it down.
It worked out however

Not this week, but last week. Last Wednesday morning actually,I had knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on the inside part of my left knee. I'm back up and doing great now! Ready to get back to work and I have a couple knives to get going on since I can comfortably get back into the shop again now.

I had mine done Feb/2020. Quick recovery time. Ice and elevate for a couple of days then start moving it. I was cutting wood 3 weeks later.
Yes sir, pretty much the same way I've been doing. I'm wondering if I'll be doing any therapy like I had to do the first time around.

Filed/sharpened three 3/8" 72DL TriLink chains, two full chisel one semi.
One chisel loop still had the tie strap shark fins, they came off with the help of my chair mounted bench grinder.

Dressed a new to me well used bar, also filed/sharpened the chain that came with it, .325" 64DL Dolmar 086 semi chisel.
Took a look-see at a new to me saw, swapped out the drive sprocket, still have to pull the muffler to check the piston.
The saw features a relatively massive muffler brace and I didn't feel like dismantling it all.

Looking up on google the meniscus is the cartilage of the knee joint? that must be seriously painful to walk on… I wish you a speedy recovery sir.
I personally have popped out my patella about ten times now. The first time was skiing and it never healed properly and kept coming out over the years. I remember tying my shoe once and she popped, every time it swelled up like a balloon and i had to miss work. The last time I did it the doc suggested physio so I did that and it never happened again. That was 5 years ago.

point being if there is a physio treatment for your recovery follow it to the letter!!! If I did that the first time I wouldn’t have had to go through all that for ten years

Yes sir it's in the knee joint, yep I'm all for physical therapy, it saved my left shoulder about 20 years ago and did alot for my last meniscus surgery 8 years ago on the outside of the same knee, but this is a different doctor and hospital system so I don't know what he'll do till I go back to see him. Pain was manageable and is even better now.

The ole girl has some rust and clear coat peeling, but she still cleans up pretty decent. I cant wait to start fixing the rust, and getting it back to her former glory. View attachment 298044
Perfection…
Love the cab lights, is she a diesel? Looking at the rims it seems you have the free floating axles? I’m not an expert but she looks like she’s built to last :)
Now that is a good looking truck!!!

Had post surgery visit yesterday afternoon, everything is going well, they answered my question about physical therapy. Got awarded with 6 weeks worth. I'm just happy everything is going like it should.

Wife had me go to town and pick some pallets, she said she wanted to make some kind of pallet furniture but when she got home she said that I would be the one making the furniture and she would sand it down. I also had time finished a saw up.
