It’s been drying a while now almost a year. I must say it is far from perfect with twists and bows on almost every piece. There are gaps between the top plate and the stud on most but it works. I didn’t want to shell out 500$ to finish what you see in the pictures so I said F* it, I’m gonna use what I got from the pile good or bad. Worst case I’ll tear it down. Are you worried about the milled wood shrinking and cracking?
30 years ago we were taught in school that acid rain would be the norm of today lol. I bet your PH is probably perfect at 7I did not even think about checking the ph. It would be interesting to know.
Not this week, but last week. Last Wednesday morning actually,I had knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on the inside part of my left knee. I'm back up and doing great now! Ready to get back to work and I have a couple knives to get going on since I can comfortably get back into the shop again now.

Yes sir, pretty much the same way I've been doing. I'm wondering if I'll be doing any therapy like I had to do the first time around.I had mine done Feb/2020. Quick recovery time. Ice and elevate for a couple of days then start moving it. I was cutting wood 3 weeks later.
Looking up on google the meniscus is the cartilage of the knee joint? that must be seriously painful to walk on… I wish you a speedy recovery sir.Not this week, but last week. Yes sir it's in the knee joint, yep I'm all for physical therapy, it saved my left shoulder about 20 years ago and did alot for my last meniscus surgery 8 years ago on the outside of the same knee, but this is a different doctor and hospital system so I don't know what he'll do till I go back to see him. Pain was manageable and is even better now.Looking up on google the meniscus is the cartilage of the knee joint? that must be seriously painful to walk on… I wish you a speedy recovery sir.
I personally have popped out my patella about ten times now. The first time was skiing and it never healed properly and kept coming out over the years. I remember tying my shoe once and she popped, every time it swelled up like a balloon and i had to miss work. The last time I did it the doc suggested physio so I did that and it never happened again. That was 5 years ago.
point being if there is a physio treatment for your recovery follow it to the letter!!! If I did that the first time I wouldn’t have had to go through all that for ten years
Perfection…The ole girl has some rust and clear coat peeling, but she still cleans up pretty decent. I cant wait to start fixing the rust, and getting it back to her former glory. View attachment 298044
Perfection…
Love the cab lights, is she a diesel? Looking at the rims it seems you have the free floating axles? I’m not an expert but she looks like she’s built to last
Now that is a good looking truck!!!
Had post surgery visit yesterday afternoon, everything is going well, they answered my question about physical therapy. Got awarded with 6 weeks worth. I'm just happy everything is going like it should. Not this week, but last week. Last Wednesday morning actually,I had knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on the inside part of my left knee.
