Thanks for that, I was going to research it myself as it does look like a vacuum, but the name sounded like a brush hog!

I still think the logos are cool. Maybe it picked up leaves on the lawn?

Well, I did it … I have a pair of chaps that someone gave me, but I never wear them. They didn't have em when I learned to use a saw and I find them to be a PITA! I climb over logs and stuff too much to feel comfortable with them on.

But I do usually wear some heavy canvas paints when I cut, and one of them wore out.

So today I ordered a set of Woodland Pro Chainsaw Protection Paints. They are supposed to be lightweight and durable, so we will see.

I bought some chainsaw boots a while back. They are so heavy and stiff I don't think I've worn them for about 5 years! (But somehow I have managed to keep all my toes!). I usually pay a lot of attention to where my body parts are in relation to the B+C.

All good Mike until that chain hits your thigh or leg. Then you wish you had 2 pair of chaps on.
I cut my leg about 20 years or so back. 50 stitches in muh leg.
Chaps for me now when I'm cutting and bucking.

I got the ports roughed in on a chinese ms250 I'm building for myself. It was going to be a nitro hotsaw, but with the GTG cancelled, and I could use a cheap saw at work. I'm going to fill the intake side transfers with epoxy and grind a smooth curve in them instead of the sharp 90 deg. There's a good bit of room for hogging the exhaust port if someone really wanted to hog it out.

Got the old Super 2 out and cut down a small tree in my new property plus cut up a bit of an old table with it also. The table was a homemade wooden one and was pretty rotten so it didn't hurt the chain. I'm still gathering up tools to get my shop ready to work on saws again, right now I have so much junk in the way that I probably couldn't work in there until I haul a bunch of it off. I guess I should have been more insistent on trash removal when I bought the property but I thought they might leave something valuable behind....

Demoed my buddy's new Husqvarna Z254F zero turn. 54" fabricated deck, 23 hp Kawasaki FR691V engine. 9 bushel triple bagger. He bought it a couple of days ago. Very nice machine. I'm in the market for a new mower myself and I've decided on the Z248F which is just the 48" 21.5 hp version of his. I'm going with the triple bagger as well.

Finished up this 5/1955 Coleman 202 of my dads. Had the fount re-nickeled and the ventilator re-porcelainized.

Those pickled eggs I found in a tackle box and I believe they have been in there for four years. Anyone want the rest?

Went to the Cabin Mon - Wed, there were 7 of us (2 Daughters, SIL + 3 G kids).

Had a great time with work and play. Shot guns, saw views, played cards and enjoyed the fire at night and cooking over it during the day.

We also cut/skidded wood and made some repairs/improvements to the cabin, cleared some trees to improve a view and to provide more PM sun for the solar panel. The wood shed is now very well stocked.

We added another Chestnut Oak bench for outside use (made from chainsaw milled wood).

Although I brought up charged batteries, the solar panel had done it's job and the charged battery that stayed up there provided lights for the entire trip.
