Yep, a little better QC and its a winner.

I thought this was kind of like a pre-ported head?

The timing numbers and compression have been enhanced.

The port widths are all at stock width though. There's room for improvement.

From the enthusiast side this is great. Can buy a top end for 1/3 of the cost of oem and play around with it. If they break it they still have the oem to put back on.

And if you have a ruined top end and you don't do port work, it is a really nice option.

I think its an excellent option! Pretty much a no brainer and a huge plus for porters having a cylinder avaliable that they would like to see come from the factory. A cylinder that doesnt have your shoulders pinned against the wall but rather a cylinder that leaves options. Great ideas Randy. 660 could sure use a cylinder that leaves a porter with options

That one will be up for sale on HL Supply in October. We did it before we did the 661 top end. We had to send it back because the exhaust port was too square, but it's being produced now.

Yes sir. I was reeling from losing Jon during that time. I didn't post much about it. Losing that boy hurt me real bad. I was depressed for a little while......

You mentioned earlier that he might be back part time. Any luck yet? He seemed to do a nice job with assembly and muff mods

Ain't happening right now.

I didn't test that. But I figure it should still be pretty good. I didn't advance the timing on the first 20 661s I did, and they still made good gains. I was leaving a lot of the table by not advancing them though.....I highly recommend it.

Redfin ported my 661 and I'm pretty sure he did a big timing advance. Runs like champ.

Best pack a big pair of boots, get on a plane and go over there so you can find the appropriate ass to plant them in.

One thing I've noticed on some aftermarket jugs is the plating chipping when trying to port them. That's one reason a bolt on performance option is very interesting here.
