I have noticed all of the top end kits from HL Supply have 40:1 stickers on them now.

With all this ethanol in the fuel, foolish not to run 40:1.

Regardless of fuel, 40:1 is the new 50:1.

40:1 is all I have ever ran. Never had an issue. But I do think the ethanol makes it even more important then it was before.

I think the extra oil if nothing else does help act as a fuel stabilizer

From what I see 50:1 is hardly enough oil for the bearings. Some oils do better than others for sure. But you sure can't go wrong with 40:1

I think red is what's hot now. Used to be blue. That's just what I hear though ya know. I'd go rotella though on a real note
