I get burned by family more than by friends. I fix stuff for friends and get paid well. I have learned a long time ago, to not "find" stuff for people. Let them find it themselves.

Tell me about it. From my experience it seems like family is quicker to screw you over than a "friend" most of the time. I think mostly because they know they can usually get away with it. Most people will put up with a lot to keep the peace, especially in the family.
