You buy one and tell me how they stack up against the old non decomp cylinders. That way I don't have to buy one.
I understand it's a bolt on part but it would be awesome if the intake was 76 or so but it's still a good cylinder for porting.
Depending on the chamber size you may not need to lower it much if any.

As far I knew the only Cross performance 064/066 kits available are the mmws kits.
@Gentleman would be the one to confirm this
Yes. Until the MS661 comes out. They are being made now. We should have them early next year.

I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of China - but it would help if it was worked over by an expert.

If I spent the money for porting, I would want it to be done at OEM stuff though, and certainly not on a cheap Chinese kit.

I agree 100% about paying for porting. If you're gonna drop some coin on having a porter work on a saw, I think having an OEM cylinder only makes sense. If however you've got a fried saw and want to put a new top end on it, these seem like a good option. Cheaper than OEM, potentially better performance. Definitely worth the price to get one and play around with it.

I have reservations about Chinese manufacturing as well, but these days, being made in China doesn't always mean low quality. It doesn't always mean good quality either, by any means. It means you gotta try stuff out and see how it works. Often Chinese stuff is cheap enough to allow a guy to afford to do that.

I worry that the crank would last though Mike. The guys that could stumble across these parts mostly can't file, can't tune, won't use fresh fuel, and sure as hell ain't gonna run the saw on good oil at 32:1 like a ported X-Torq needs.
Uh.... I do all the above pretty darn good.. tree ninety xp:ARMS1:
And haven't I gotten alot of flack on the other site cause I stated that I run 100LL @ 32-1 with dominator..:cheer:

Gotta watch for sure, but I had jobs as a temporary worker putting made in USA stickers over made in China on the label, and putting Chinese parts into a made in America bin!!!

Customs caught one company, that wasn't very much fun

Such frauds get really interesting when an airplane crashes, and the crash is traced back to a faulty fake part (it has happened)....:eek:
