This is true, given the oportunity to do something that will be easier on the body for the second half of my non retired so I can enjoy it instead of being like so many crippled and torn up retired firefighters I meet sound appealing to me. I guess life choices have a big part to play in that.... and the schedule can’t really be beat. Pros now cons later. Once again rolls back to life choices. I’ve done both that you mentioned prior to landing here.
Sounds like a good plan. From my retired side of the fence I'm glad I saved some wear and tear to use in these later years lol Milling as a hobby and inexpensive boards for woodworking later is possible only cause there is energy and unbroken body to call on.

Awesome set up and extra kudos to @Mastermind that is super fast turn around on a ported saw.
Very very fast turn around. Last I knew it wouldn’t be before he got back. Independence Day I got a tracking number!
Amazing work Randy. Soon as I have the cash you’ll be doing another 261 for me.

Not going to gripe much though cause as you can see everything except the trees is dead!

I like this one already, even in the solid 6 year drying in TX dry heat live oak It’s pulling plenty hard. Might have to work the Oiler over though for this stuff, known issue in this hard stuff. Nothin else come home unless it more oak or mesquite or hedge. All except the hedge run dual purpose for heating and cooking. I can’t immagine when this thing seats in.

Yeap Stihl oilers are known to be stingy but once you get that fixed it'll be great.

FedEx showed up with this little beauty! Even got the full wrap, never had one. Thank you so much @jacob j. Can't wait to try it out.
Now to decide what size bar? I'll swap my 365SP 20" over for now, but do I go longer or shorter? Was already thinking a 24" before the raffle as I have chains from the MS660 25". I'm guessing this is set up for 3/8" .050, guessing I need to look at the rim?
