O and @mdavlee when I talked to him today he's working on getting some 681 top ends but he does have some 675 top ends in stock. :)
I talked to him after my saw arrived and he still had one 681 top end kit at the time and was going to order a few more. Thanks again, Carl, for the lead!!

Are the top ends close to the dolmar price?

Randy/Carl/Mike - Which is the top end to mod, the 7900/7910 or the 681 to make the monster saw? Has the jury reached a verdict yet?

×2 with mike. I would like to have both jugs in hand but without the use of epoxy I would guess you could get the best port timing numbers out of the 665 hybrid if that's what we're calling it. From my research the 7910 likes compression. Of course I'm not sure how the longevity of these will hold up but I have a couple in testing. Not a saw I'm afraid to take well over 200 comp. From an aspect of it still shows gains.

Ummm....I dunno what the Dolmar kit costs. He cut me a nice discount since I bought it with the saw. Not sure I'm allowed to post $$. PM coming your way.

I priced a 681 crank, well I don't think the crank is worth half the saw. :( Is the 650 done yet so this can get back on the rails?

I looked into this as well. Mike lee give me some crank builders but I was with u. To me it's more about having a different saw from everyone else. :)

I asked Mike about the strokers also, ok maybe HL is cooking up a 7900/681 crank aftermarket. At the price on used 7900 cranks I thought well maybe the solo crank isn't crazy & I will just spring for 1, well to me it was crazy. LOL

when these saws came out, the rumor was you cant get gains out of them. what were they doing to screw them up because from what you have all said they run well with numbers all over.
