Might give you a reading while in the cut with saw loaded.
Nope I tried that around 7200rpm was as good as it would read and the same with 2 other tachs .
Dosen't matter now .

Dunno. Probably 16-17 ish pounds. Just a guess. I don’t cut with no bar mounted so that pho spec doesn’t really matter to me.

Cool, TY for the information. Those lite bars really make a difference. Makes sense. Maybe post it in the 500i thread too. Would be useful there as well.

I have Sugi lw 32" so that would be close.
Yeah... for my 462 coming
A 28" will be my next bar acquisition in a lw sumtin but no WC kit needed here.

Seems like everyone is enjoying the new four or five series

I used to not be a fan of the handle spacing and angles of the old 440. Bout the same as a 50cc saw. I appreciate that the front and rear handle is further apart on the 462. It balances and handles better. Easier on the forearms/wrists. When you have short handlebar spacing on a larger saw you feel more of the saws weight with a longer bar since it will balance poorly (nosedive). The 462 isn’t quite as neutrally balanced as a 372/572... but close and a definite improvement over the 440.
