Agreed. Where the weight is distributed makes a noticeable difference in handling to me though. Although stihl laminate bars are slightly lighter than the ES Light bars are, I don’t like the way the laminates make the saw feel. I think the little bit of extra weight right at the bar tip helps the saw flip around better and balance better overall. I think it has to do with COG more than weight. Completely personal preference though.The difference could be where the weight is taken from also. The more weight taken from the outer end of the bar, the lighter it will feel on the saw obviously
