Hey, first impression is good. Easy to work on fired up after 4 pulls in -10celsius. Feel like Husqvarna is at least trying to make a great product here. Was as i said a little coarse casting in transfer, exhaust and stratoes. And plating flakes off easy.Feels very strong in 10inch seasoned oak. The owner is on firewood duty these days so expect he will tell soon.
Did you do do anything to it other than porting the cylinder?

Looks like a tsumura bar under the Husqvarna paint.
Cool thread.
Husqvarna 1.5 is Tsumura.
They cost, 20“ 790 + VAT for light and 880 + VAT for Premium at Argus Kompetanse Norge.
That's well under half the price of Husqvarna with the same quality!

I don’t see that as being acceptable, but I suppose some porting techniques may be more likely to flake the plating.
Some cylinders will flake no matter how careful you are and some you couldn't get to flake if you tried. Later model Huskies are getting a bad reputation for it.

What was the gain with porting you did? I tried stock 564 and my ported 400.1 feels much stronger.

Removed base gasket. And opened up the original outlet in the muffler.
Careful. Deleting the gasket with your numbers seems tight.

0.85-0-5 = 0.35mm. That's "0.014. I plan to make my own gasket with oiled paper on my 564, I have 0.15 and 0.25mm thickness.

Feels stronger than a stock one for sure.
And im sure there is more left on the table to gain also. Once the many brilliant chainsaw guys in here plays a little with one.

I think my 564 order was the first one ordered as soon as it could be done. Hoping that means I'll see it soon!
My buddy ordered at same time so ill have a stocker to compare to and can start hacking away at mine

There to the left. Then the throttle body mounts onto this again.

Plan is to delete base gasket, port to Ex:100 Tr:115 In:78.
If it runs bad i can lover the jug and put som epoxy in intake.
Some rough casting.
And the plating can flake so be careful when somebody tinkers with theese.
How does the plating look at the squish band does it stop short? (Ring of death)
