Did you guys get a video of it at the gtg? I somehow only took pics instead of tapping the recorder icon.
Man, I was a complete loser at Bob's and didn't record squat. I barely took any pics! I think I have one pic of Bob's 80 next to my 80/90 and then a couple pics of Jules running your P62.Did you guys get a video of it at the gtg? I somehow only took pics instead of tapping the recorder icon.
This after video does it absolutely no justice. It's way too much saw for that short bar and I'd really like to see it cut with a 20" to 24" set up. I know that's what your plans are... I'm just anxious. Lol
Commend her on her choice of chainsaws! It certainly kicked that logs a$$Mrs Heffalump has an 034 Super.
10-4She's a damn fine woman.
Yours is the one with the interesting lightweight con rod from the thread right? That was a kool looking rod and I wonder if it helps saw gain over solid con rod? How's the throttle response compared to the 036 pro?View attachment 73764 First is a 036proView attachment 73765 034AV non super model
Now that does look pretty damn far out!View attachment 74163 Yes that is the one @drf256 worked over. The throttle is very snappy and it likes to rev. Not sure how much the lighter weight rod helps, but I would think there should be some benefit.
The 036Pro has been advanced and a deflector was added. It's no pooch, but there's a big difference between the two saws.
I never had an 036 at the same time as the stock 034. The 034 stock was decent, but it came with .325 18" so it felt like it had good power.
Yeah theres something funny with the control lever. It does not feel very positive when you push it down into choked.I see it has a muffler mod.
It had the older style af. I like the metal oem airfilter to let it breath, but some say it lets a lot of fines in. I usually cut green wood though.
Check to see if the linkage letting the choke close all of the way. Two of mine had to have the linkage bar bent a little to do so.
