I'm the same. I just can't cut up the cover. I'll find a cover somewhere someday. I still have to sort out some sort of a primer set up for cold starts. I know how I want to do it, just need the time and ambition to play with it again. Someday....
You've spent all of your extra time helping me out

They are a nice running Stock saw Nothing wrong with them. However, after running my both my ported 036 and 5100s all with the same chain, my stock 036s feel "slow."

Get it ported and a you will want more and more and more. Vicious cycle.

Agreed, once Doc (@drf256) ported my 034S it was all over.

last summer at this time i had 0 ported saws i have 2 away right now and have a total of 12 ported saws


This time last summer I had zero ported saws as well, now I have two, Dad has one, and I have three away currently.

P.S. I will check on your parts tomorrow sir, my apologies, was not trying to ignore/avoid you, been so busy this last two weeks I cannot see straight.

Watching those vids makes me wonder why Stihl even bothered developing the MS361/362 saws!

(The MS341/361 are still fantastic machines mind you.. :) )

Agreed, the ms362 I had (for limited time) was not even a patch on my 254xp.
