Since there are a lot of saws at that dyno shop.

Joe will have to do those runs like a assembly line. (Example) Huskys lined up goes first, stihl, etc.

Mount on the machine, pull that rope, grip that thing-a-ma-jig throttle lever until the carb is ripped off it’s mount, 18,000 rpms, shoot that load lever, spit that dyno paper. All done in 10 seconds.

Everything but the paper sounds about right....

Have to video the data, and put it into the spreadsheet by hand....



What's the calibration procedure on that rig?

Lock the shaft from spinning. Hang a known weight, 12" from centerline. Make sure the ftlb on screen matches the weight+the arm. And it's done.
