For many years I only had a 660 and used it for everything, obviously you don't need a saw that big but I'd way rather have more saw than not enough.

Lots of 60cc saws will handle a 24+ but a bigger saw will make it more enjoyable for you and the saw, especially falling you want more saw than less.

I've said it before that any professional faller regardless of tree size will be running the biggest saw he can get for a reason.

I keep several 80 plus cc saws around for a reason and have for 35 years.

The point is it wasn't a chore. Four cuts on the notch ,GOL plunge from both side(btw I no longer use the gol plunge) and blow it out the back. My stock 262's give up once you bury the tip,I'd have been whittling at that thing all day. Not good.

I wasn't knocking you, just expressing how I understand using what you have. That was all I had at the time. Most of my cutting happens within 50' of my garage now, so it's easy to grab a bigger saw.

I need to run one of these 6100's, everyone seems impressed with them!

Yes, who is this troll?
I am short, hairy, and probably smell bad at times and look like I live under a bridge. OH NOON! I MAY BE THE TROLL! Well that stinks almost as bad as I do. Oh well. So about the perfect 60cc saw.

I have to get it in my own hands first to look it over to see if it's worth it to fix, my father told me it won't pull over.

I would add to the list the Husqvarna 61 and 266, still very capable saws and fun to mess with. The 365 Special is another one ya just can't help but like. 361 Stihl's really cook along pretty good without doing much to them, the 036 is America's firewood saw and we'll have to see if it ever gets replaced by a modern one or not.

The 036 is arguably better in all ways (but price) but I'd argue that the 029-039 (Dad bought a new 039 when I was around 12) have put a lot more firewood on the rack for a lot of people than the 036. Likewise the 55 Husky I bought circa 2000 killed a lot of Hedge and other trees before it met an untimely demise. Now, there's a reason why many of us (DAD and I included) now have Pro saws across the board, but the underloved mid-class saws are probably bought 2-1 or better over the high end models.
