I am guessing the 2260 got the same upgrades?
surelyI am guessing the 2260 got the same upgrades?
Truth!Threads like these just make me want more saws and I don't even get to use my current ones enough.
+1 Sir.I hate some have had a bad experience with a 562, a good one is about as good as it gets. got mine in 2012 one of the original ones with the carb everyone says has problems, it's been an amazing work horse with a 24" bar. I'm surprised it's still running as good as it does with the amount of time its had on it. The 5 series for me have been some of them most durable saws I've ran in my tree service... and even with the unimaginable oil mix of 50:1 lol and I don't blame anyone who's had a bad experience with one for not liking them.
The 562 I had has left a bad taste in my mouth,I'll not have another one.
It needs upgraded and that cost more than I paid for it.
The 6100 is ported.I didnt pull a stopwatch, but looked like 14 seconds for the 6100 and 15 seconds for the 262xp. Not a bad showing for a 30 year old saw. Question is, is that 6100 ported to, or running stock? If it's stock- that's impressive as hell to beat a ported 262.
They are in the running for the strongest 60cc saw for sure, couple that with no auto carb and incredible filtration- we have a winner..The 6100 is ported.
It's the only one I've done but they have to be one of or the strongest 60cc out there.
Takes longer to mod the muffler than to port it.
A 6100 or at least this one was a pooch stock, very high compression stock also. They are in the running for the strongest 60cc saw for sure, couple that with no auto carb and incredible filtration- we have a winner..
