My 20" 6100 came with .325 chain , so I'm guessing 3/8 works better ?

Seems to cut really well with the .325 and it is stock so I'll just leave it as is .

I might throw the 16" speedcut bar with a fresh sharpened txl of the 6100 and see what happens lol. I doubt it will be anything awesome considering how hard it pulls a 24" 3/8 buried in oak and hickory. Might be exciting on some 10-12 " wood lol

The 034 has carb problems and is smaller but it aint doing bad against the 6100.
Both have chains fixed for a 90cc saw
Ya those chains had some bite. How low are the depth guages.

I really wish I had some time to learn how to square file! I am afraid if I wait to long there will not be anyone to learn from.
I'm not very good at it but I have some chains from guys that are very good at it and there'snothing quite like a good square chain.
Make a ok saw look fast and a fast saw look unbeatable.
I spend a lot of time filing,it's therapeutic for me.

That 395 you did was epic! Looked like you were holding it back trying to keep up lol. Always love the sound and chips the saws you build make.

When a 395 is done up proper, it's a riot. The one I had wanted to take me on a ride to the center of the earth. Could not get over how fast and strong it was bucking red oak. I literally stood up from the 1st cut I made with it and looked around thinking, "did that just happen?"

I got my last 394 back and should have it first of next week, I've never been able to get a 395 as strong as a 394 but I think this 395 is ahead but I'll find out for sure next week.
