I have used the 036/361/362 series of saw for a while, I found them to be the best over all saw. I can send a man up in a tree with it to take a big top, or use it in the bucket truck, or cut brush and limb/top logs.

I like the dimensions of the saw personally, and enjoy how it works with a 20" sword. I have undoubtedly put more hours on a 036 than any other saw I've ever used. But my favorite saw ever is my 7910 lol

Come to the ct gtg may 6th, and we will either change your mind or reinforce your feelings. Either way, it will be great to meet you!

I plan on coming! I'm probably going to bring my Dolmar for chits and giggles. I honestly have been wanting to try a broken in stock 576xp autotune. We have a couple saws that need to be retired and have been looking into replacements.

I work for a business that does every aspect of the tree industry, so I get to play with lots of saws all the time haha

Has anyone ever put a bigger jug on an 036 other than a BB kit?

Totally left field here, but...what is the largest bar a Dolmar 6100 will oil correctly?

Mine oils a 24 just fine. A local logger runs a 28 on one and he says it does fine. I have no want to buy a 28 on my 6100 though

I've heard an 044 jug will fit with a lot of finesse, but you still have the issue of carburetion to contend with.

My 28" bar rides on a 2186.
My son needed to borrow a saw. I handed him a 262. He *b-worded,pissed and moaned that he couldn't take the 6100.
He's no saw freak he just wants one that runs.
