60cc saw opinions

I am confused. You want to either port your 036 or get another 60cc class saw with more power. But your goal is also a lighter saw? The 036 is around 13.5lbs and the 562 is 13.2lbs. It is lighter.
If you are wanting a lighter saw than this go for a 550.

no, you aren't confused. That's what I'm saying I will probably end up getting the 036 ported because we already own it...or be sneaky and try to get my 360 pro cleaned up and sent out to one of the popular guys on the site

I wouldn't go with a new husky for serious work the 5 series is not like the 2-3series

I'd go lighter honestly a ported 261 or 5105 randy and Carl do well on them respectively.


If you can handle 60cc weight. An 044 is about the same weight I can't feel the difference

You can't really go wrong with any of the builders on this site. They all build awesome saws. If you can make it to either the NY or CT gtg (or both) you'll be able to run a bunch of different saws built by several different builders.

I loved my 562. Bad ass 60 cc saw but I've also seen boxes of bottom ends that have failed with less than 100 hours reading on the autotune.

Just my 2 cents but port that 6100 it will more then impress you, mastermind did a comparison between the 562XP, 357xp and the 6100 all ported, the 6100 took the win, although I will not give up my 357xp but soon I will have it and a 6100 booth ported.

Special is closed port cylinder. Mike has a very good recipe on 'em. The non specials are open port.
