@redlight066 I think is his screen name. I can't find the video. If you are watching the video, just click on upper right hand side (the three dots) or go to the top and click share video or copy link. Then paste it in here.
Yeah I got the video I just need to get it uploaded

The 395 uses an outboard clutch, so the pump is driven off the end of the drum to a gear. The 592 has an inbord clutch so it's driven of a pinion that the outer radius of the drum druves, like most every inboard clutch saw.

So it's sounding like the oil output is a bit disappointing, I found the same with the 572, in dry Ash it would struggle to oil a 24" B&C. But than again maybe we just like seeing more oil than what's actually truly necessary.[emoji848]
I thought my 572 oiled quite well actually. I run a 28 on mine and it’s one notch from wide open. It’s on par with fuel consumption. I enlarge the slot on my Oregon bars and that helped quite a bit. When I had it wide open it slobbered all over. Maybe I just got an oddly better one

Possibly. I've ran different bars, some with a big slot some with smaller, didn't make a difference. My old 372 oils plenty, and naturally the 395 is like the Exxon Valdez.

The two I own are the same way. In fact they will run out the oil tank before the gas turned up all the way so I run them about 3/4 turned out. This is with a 24” and 28” bar in hardwood.

Didn’t you say in another thread that you replaced the defective oiler and it fixed the issue? I seem to remember something along those lines but I could be wrong.

There’s a video on YouTube again please forgive me because I do not know how to post videos the guy Richard I’m gonna mess up his last name flag?
Who ran a 592 with a 44 inch bar and 404 chain and a nice big piece of wood and it seem to do nice.
No I don’t know if the Saul was porters or if it was just a standard stock saw so please forgive me

Yup, I cut mostly ash. Not the hardest but it’s does oil very well in that and anything else for that matter

Rich did a nice job on that 592. Holds RPMs well throughout the cut!
592 was stock, first tank of fuel. Thanks for the props tho...

Husqvarna rep took it with him that same day and said it would be coming back, that didn't happen. He did show up today with the 585 and said that we (the tree company I work for) could hang onto it for a while.

On another note, a few weeks back during the TCIA trade show, Husqvarna was taking some dealer pre-orders for the 592/585. I noticed that order with the expected ship date vanished from from our pending orders a couple of weeks ago. As I understand it most all of those pre-orders were cancelled.

A price increase was announced as well. 592xp with a 32 light weight bar is now 1429.99. Honestly I can't remember what the old MSRP was but, looks like they took an increase across the board on most all whole equipment. Yay!!!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the thread. Didn't mean to repeat the bad news.
