I've actually had very good luck with the recoils on both 460s and 660s, and with the AM brake flags on both.

I think the HL Supply chain adjusters are much better than the Huztl, and very reasonable in price.

And I like the Huztl 660 muffler better than OEM, but I don't weld on em and I know they are not as good for that.

Also, CFB Mike used an AM tank holder on my Hybrid, and I'm very pleased with it. Actually easier to see the fuel level than with an OEM.

That said, the AM chainsaw kits never go together as smoothly as OEM, and often need a bit of tinkering. It is just part of it, it is a fraction of the cost.

Before installing the FW make sure the crank and FW are clean and free of any oil or dirt. I just wipe them off with a rag soaked in a bit of brake cleaner.

When building a hybrid you will need to either grind on the outside of cylinder transfer bulge or clearance the FW a bit. I prefer to clearance the FW. I have a piece from a broken crank that I mount the FW on and then I chuck it up on the lathe and take a bit of material off. You will only have to remove approximately 1/8 from the edge of the fins IMG_6574.JPG IMG_6575.JPG 72392aa3-d855-46a5-906d-6131d31fcc29.jpg

This is a different cylinder then what's going on this saw. Apparently I slacked off and didn't get pictures of the clearance work done to tune actual cylinder being used on this saw. These pictures show what's required to make the 046 cylinder fit the 044 cases.
There are a couple cooling fins that need to be ground down. The FW and clutch sides of the cylinder base need to clearanced and the bolt holes need to be ovaled a touch for the different bolt spacing on the 044 cases.IMG_4013.JPG IMG_4014.JPG IMG_6641.JPG
