What say you? First time I've ever hung a ring in hundreds of builds. Ports were chamfered then hand sanded with 400 grit

It looks to me like you opened the exhaust port too far and the edge of the ring got caught in the port

Lol. I sent that video to crackerbuilt and he thought it was HIS MS461. Took us a minute on the phone to clear that up. I was using his bar. Hahahaha!!!

Barely widened. Didn't have much room there. Looks like the ring caught closer to the center. Schooled me up. Thankfully I don't have a lot of experience with this happening

I had a 460 quit in the cut just like that. Luckily, it had just spit the decomp, but I did not realize that at first when I pulled the cord and there was no compression!

If you did finger ports, you had to flip the piston? Might be able to ditch the bottom ring next time.

I’ve heard that sound a few times.
Had a coil screw back out and get in the flywheel on a 14k piss rev, hung a ring in the 660, and had a case pin walk into the clutch on the same 660. Chit happens.
