He seems to be very competent, my post was not to deminish his work at all, Im subscribed to his yt channel and I enjoy it very much.
But you cant put the hp figures from one dyno and compare them to another it means nothing.
Could very well be his figures are closer to reality than Husqvarnas, but where the fun stuff happens is his testing of mods, pipes, fuel, airfilters, etc, etc. Good stuff!

Joe’s hp numbers were synchronized and averaged to published specs on the first 20-30 stock saws he ran on it. I think he’s pretty close to actual power output

Yep I was just stating his means for calibration and averaging. No 2 dynos will be the same.

Didn’t mean for it to sound confrontational

Also like the part where they use the stihl wrench instead of the Husky wrench
Yeah, and was that like a weedeater wrench it was giant. I don't know anyone who packs one like that. Everyone here has the stputer shorter wrap handle style, wrenches. Easier to pack too. And with the new husky handles they are not a issue

I agree with you 100% the new handles are not an issue they work fine I have a 390 where I have a little bit of difficulty with the wrench on my handles it’s just weird but that’s the only saw.
I like the video a whole lot I just find it weird Al and maybe I’m wrong and don’t how much stihl Saw‘s a big out there.

Speaking of the weedeater wrench all my stihl wrenches look that like that Long. My husky ranches are much shorter

I like the short guys, the husky ones. Made to compensate their old handles. Most people don't realize when they were fighting the old full wrap husky handles. There were shorter wrenches made by husky for it. Though I agree the newer design on husky handles, or the Stihl design is a little better away from the bar nuts.

Yes, lots of Stihl loyal guys here. But definitely gained more of a Husky wave, certainly noticed more husky guys around, vs the 80s and 90s here. But did see1m those guys being loyal to stihl wanted to hack on the 592. It's funny, the caps are to small comment. Lol, they accommodate all my gas spouts:) 572 should be around same size. Bigger caps like the old 066 I found just allows more junk to fall in your tank.

Another thing, owning all those size saws and now a 500i. Minus never owning a 592, but having 066s 395 etc. The stuff in the video is not the size would ot will shine in. Throw a 36-42 on it, and go stump trees 3 foot and up, I bet it will change opinions

I’m kind of summing it this way or leaning this way for many years stihl had to 66. Doesn’t matter what model oh 66.one etc. Husqvarna had either the 390 which they may have thought was a little under power since it only came in at 88cc. And the 395 comes in at 94 cc.but extremely heavy not really super heavy but heavy then to 66 . Now we have the 592 and the 585. different saw different power very similar to 66. That should change the market. that’s my opinion of it doesn’t mean I’m right doesn’t mean I’m wrong but it’s something to chew on.

Maybe with the smaller gas caps on a husky we won’t see too many gas geysers???
