I just realize where the conversation was going. When I replied about the large holes .The conversation did not update so I missed about four or five comments.

That’s Great almost 9 hp. question not to get off the subject here. But for use loggers out there that run the saw all day. How much fuel do you burn gallon ,gallon and a half 2 1/2?

Great saw, not complaining in any way
Yea 592 , really liking mine good acceleration and power no problems after 5 months , did a muffler mod extra port seems to help it , but longevity without issues will be the key to any new model time will tell all .

And add this for the people out there that say Huskies are junk. I have both husky and stihl,

you’re gonna have problems with a particular saw. It’s just gonna happen we’ve all had cars that day after day we’re fixing something on them because it breaks I had one car that was a lemon. It’s going to happen but the 592 fits at need and my auto tunes fit that need I like to pick them up go they do their job.

Also give you guys a heads up .I can’t find a form for the Husky gas can. There is a fix need a pair of needle nose pliers and an extra long pair And like 400 grit sandpaper the nozzle will come apart
Extended tip and twisted it will pop out. Remove the rubber garments and the spring. And sand the top down you’ll see where it vines it’s like the top 3/4 inches.

Mines been in wood since the first of March 2022 is stock and will be left that way for warranty reasons. My 660magnum hasn’t got a scratch on it in any way, ergonomics, power, oiling ability or fuel economy whatsoever

I gather you’re referring to the combi can? My own one and two others I know of have played up, not springing back when it fills. My second one (which husky sent me) has been fine. I thought it may be an internal o’ring quality issue but not sure as I haven’t pulled it apart, you’s who have no doubt know what’s in there. Here’s a tip though when using it, hold the handle by putting your thumb through and place the bottom of container on top of forearm/bicep and with left hand push back on the nozzle section before lifting it out, therefore shutting it off. I did this for quite some time before the second one arrived and it works.

And what seems to be happening is that the plastic is swelling inside where the rubber O-ring goes. It’s only the top 3/4 inch on a on a Husky combos.

Mine started on the 4th pull this morning .
Yeah mine started on the third pull
On Wednesday but a couple weeks ago I pulled it over a dozen times it would not fire. I believe it’s probably something in the wiring but it’s also finicky it does not do it every time or every day One day I will find out what’s causing it.
I believe it works more than it acts up let’s just say that way. But I love the saw.

I've got a good bit of time on both of the saws I like them alot. Lots of power and the fuel mileage is very impressive.
Air filtration is about the same as the other huskys.
I have ran 42 in bar and they pull them quite well. Husqvarna definitely did a good job on them
Fuel usage is very impressive compared to my 660 it uses a lot less(haven’t done actual full tank run times as per hour meter which I was going to before I removed it)

This is the anything I have the compare to .I have eight tanks of mine now roughly .I believe I have A little over for five hours on it from what the computer was telling me.

it also depends on idle time how hard you’re running at full speed.
But I think in the end it’s what is removed from the gas can.
