With the wealth of knowledge and innovation here, we could have some awesome articles/builds/editorials. It seems like the saw world is growing with a bunch of young guys, and there's a bunch of wack s*** and crazy people on Facebook right now, so a magazine might set some stuff straight and provide some interest for people esp. outside of this community.

I'd love to help out but I'm a bit (pun) busy getting my typewriter repair business off the ground. :)

What is minimum circulation at say $20/year in order to make it profitable? Bi-monthy, monthy?

Some have commented that it is a dead format which is partly true. Are there 100,000 subscribers out there? 50k? You need only a small percentage of the 300 million just in the US.

If you are serious, some phone calls/emails for ad sponsorship would be in order. What major chainsaw manufacturer wouldn't want their ads in a Nationally distributed rag? The pitch to Husky goes something like this....'Stihl has shown interest in 2 pages of advertisements already.' 'We'll take 2 pages and sponsor the editor's note' says the Husky exec. Then you call Stihl. lol
