Thank you.

Glad to see you are up, and back at it. I hope you are on the road to a speedy recovery.
thanks Jon,
My two last weeks has been a nightmare, but the hospital is on it now. Either a flu virus or one medecine who give me side effect.
Nevertheless, hearth and lounges got a good checkup from them today and both organs passed brilliant.
From now on everything will go fine :)

Working on a cub cadet lt1046 right now. Ol v-twin briggs needs some care. So far not much wrong....wouldn't start on its own....shot of carb cleaner it would fire up and run fine. Both sides of the intake manifold were sucking air. Waiting on replacement seals. Also found the coil gaps to be a bit wide. She needs a tune up captain!

Nice set of jugs @drf256 . Are two decomp and two non decomp? Are they the same number wise on the wheel?
Yup Pat. 2 decomp and two non.

I didn't check the timing before the base cut. It really doesn't matter, they'll all be the same soon enough.

I actually prefer the decomp jugs over the old red lever jugs. The later decomp jugs without the decomp drilled are my favorites. The KS jugs for the 026 are my least favorite, in fact, they suck compared to Mahle. The aluminum is harder and the plating up by the band is Choppy.

@Tpagel band at .014 squish. I do the fine sand when it's on the host Saw.

Do you cut with a mandrel or on the lathe? I'm about 50/50. I have a few cutting mandrels for some sizes and a few square aluminum pieces for other sizes. If your mandrels fit tight to the bore, I'm not convinced one way is better than the other
