TJ what did Stihl do differently on the 251 other than making it strato? It's strange they kept the 250 in production but it now costs more (retail) than the 251.

Hey guys I need some help on a 026 I freshend up with new lines air filter.and cleaned the carb. My problem is it acts real cold blooded. I can set the carb it will start easy then when it gets warmed up want to bog. I can tune the bog out but after setting a day its a real pain to start. Am I missing something? Thanks.
Give it a little more pop off pressure.

I'm not positive, design, structure, carb, tank housing, av system are all different. The 251 is the new design of saw for sure. Also runs much different to. I'd have to look, but I haven't seen the 250 being produced for awhile.

Husky 42 special year 92 is a bit closer to be a runner...left to order one Meteor 242 piston, fuel line&filter.

Sanded the squish band, 16th was end result.

Those Gilardoni jugs has a very narrow intake, this one not anymore..if it wasnt because of the intake bolt I would had centered the intake more.

Other then this I lifted the EX and TR as well.
I've left to modd the key and airfilter and put it together....
