Stihl ts400 friend found it in the dumpster i put a 25.00 chinese cylinder kit on it runs great.
I used it to cut rebar today caught my boot on fire a little i'm left handed.

Nieces husband is bringing me another 400 and a 420 i never liked the 420s though i will keep the 400 they suck to work on but they is handy.

Just because they aren't immediately pictured don't mean they aren't around. Yes it's together...hopefully test run tomorrow.

As far as the 330 goes, I'm pretty sure that oil system can be modified to work without that pump. Just plumb it up like you would a Super 2 and bypass the pump and pressurize the oil tank with a pulse hose and a duckbill valve inside the tank, another line going from tank to bar mount. Might take some work but can be done.

Working on a pesky 026 right now. Seems the metering lever is a wee bit high. I can't ever get those models to run decent. Has the wt-194 on it to.

A buddy of mine is looking at a ts400 needs a carb at the least whats a good used price on them

They are priced high around here 4-500 but i wouldn't pay that usually the bottom is toast they has a rough life i personally wouldn't give over 200.00 but thats just me.

Thanks my buddy is a badazz auto mechanic but sends me 2 cycle stuff. I thinking if the carb is jacked then there more to the story

It just takes longer to work on any brand of these due to the design and filthiness.

I just had a go around with one of these too. But I think I got luck with the carb kit.
