Thank you sir! I am getting the hang of doing this….still takes me forever to get the jug zeroed before cutting though.
My best time was 18 minutes for both the base and squish band cuts. And the next one took me 30 minutes for just the squish cut. For the most part it gets quicker the more you do, but every now and then one has to be a bastage

Every one of these 575-576's needs a low top. The high tops just freggn get in the way. Added bonus is they look better. Way better. I'd prob swap the covers just for that.

Edit: Occasionally this saw gets loaned out. So I wont be drilling the adjustment holes. But if you wanted to, they are marked on the back side.

Serviced a Husqvarna K770 cut off saw. New fuel filter, air filter and pre filter, new plug and decomp valve, old one was sticking. Cleaned air filter base and around cylinder while I had the covers off.

Checked out a no start K770 and found that it died from dirt ingestion. Waiting for owner to get back to me to see what he wants to do with it.

Got a chance to circle back around to that 346 jug and cut the squish. Took 0.050” out of the band and cut a chamfer into the chamber. Also cut the cylinder extensions while I was at it. Now I just need the saw to show to keep moving.15A93DAB-5EE8-449A-9F89-85295BFF28C6.jpegADD9822B-EA0E-42DD-9D38-4CF4112A7EA5.jpeg

I finished up this little gal who came to me with hard starting issues and some slight damage from being tossed out of a tree when it wouldn't start. The hard starting was due to a crankcase leak, so after cleaning the whole thing in the solvent tank I re-sealed the case and now it'll pass a p/v test with flying colors! After a bit of tuning it fires right up and I'm hoping it'll do the same when I return it to its owner. While I was at it I tuned my 056, adjusted the metering lever in it so it'll stop flooding itself out, and I also adjusted the valves on a Rammax trench compactor which should fix the hard starting/excessive smoking issues.
