2.99 gal. For 93 efree in Many , La.
................... Of they only knew how much water was wasted lol.
How is water wasted? Will our water supply run out?
Remember also that the more ethanol that is made, the higher the cost of food for livestock and the higher the food prices in general. It all averages out.
I live in the beef state and I like beef. Seven days without beef makes one weak.
Yes they have to use water with low salinity and the river that they were going to pull from here was used for drink and would of been ran dry of the built the plant. So yes at least here in Topeka Ks the needs of the people out weighted the want of a corporation.
And what I mean by wasted is just leave the fkn corn out of the gas theres no need for it.
That is not what I asked. I guess I will make it more clear. How does the production of ethanol based fuels waste water? Will the water supply run out if we keep producing ethanol?
Yes if there pumping water from under ground aquifers
Alright Iam done now I just remembered this is a chainsaw forum! !!!!!!!!
What a ripoff! And I thought 3.50 a gal was bad...WOW!
I can't believe I am posting this price but the only place I could find ethanol-free gas in Santa Cruz, CA wants $10/gallon for it. I have to go to a specialty oil distributor to get it.
Here in the People's Republik of Commiefornia "environmentally unfriendly" stuff costs a premium. I only run this fuel in vintage saws and I don't run them that often.

Recent price for a half gallon of milk that I saw in the paper yesterday was $1.68. So that figures to be an average of about $3.40 to $3.50 a gallon for milk. Gasoline and diesel are both cheaper today. What are you currently paying for a gallon of milk out in you area of Nebraska?

LOML bought 18 large eggs last week for a buck. We don't buy butter very often. Could be that there are more dairy cows running around Illinois. Nebraska is the beef state. I can get ground beef for under $2 a pound. Corn beef went for $2.50 around mid-March.Well you should shop around then if a gallon of milk is $3.40 to $3.50. I wonder how much a dozen eggs and a pound of butter is?

E-10 has less btu's than E-0. So It takes more fuel to go the same distance. I get a average of 30-40 miles less out of a tank of fuel with E-10 than E-0. What a rip. It's all about money
