Wow looking great! What are the dimensions?

Hmmm....I see them in the quote but not in the post. Weird!

WOW! Nice job Kevin. Looks awesome.
Looks pretty heavy! Need a crane to move it. Lol

Thanks men !!
My son and I moved it out from under the gazebo and flipped it so the top side was up, then I got started with the elbow grease

Boards are drying pretty good so far. Been little over 3 weeks i think. They are just stacked in my shed with a fan on them.

I have been thinking about moving them under my deck on a pallet with the stickers still between them. They wont get wet under ther. Do yous think they are dry enough to move out.

Just like with firewood, you need to get to "fresh" wood to get an accurate reading w/ mc. IMO 3 weeks isn't enough time to do anything with them, unless it's just moving the stickered stack to a different location.

Ya thats mainly the reason. They are piled in front my work bench and kind of a pain to work around them. If being outside wont hurt them i will start piling them under deck from now on.

Gym floors and Bowling Alley floors are usually made from Black Maple (AKA Rock Maple). The grain is much tighter.

White Oak is far more resistant to rot, and was often used in ship building and is still used for the locks on the Erie Canal.

Also, all the wine / bourbon / etc barrels are White Oak. Red Oak is porous and would leak.

I built this table for my Daughter a couple of years ago. I had to straighten it and do a new flood coat of epoxy (I hate working with epoxy)! It is now level! (it previously had a bow).

Used the Watco Teak Oil that Jeff recommended on the legs which were previously un finished.

Both the table and bench are Chestnut Oak. Did not need to re do the bench, it just has a seal coat of epoxy (I previously took the bow out of it).

Wide pieces of milled wood seem to like to "V" on the center when they are no longer stacked and stickered!
