If it is original it is a 1-50, they were the only ones with that starter housing left over from the D-30/36 and the full wrap bar.

That’s what I was guessing after some more research, so are they worth buying? I’m assuming it’s 80 cc still like a 1-40 of the same era but maybe actually had full bearings and a third port induction vs the bushed 2 port 1-40. I’m assuming this will make it have a fair bit better power?

I'm not sure if the 1-50 had the third exhaust port opened up or not...some of the 80cc models only had 2 of the 3 opened, maybe they are all that way I just don't remember. The 87cc models had all 3 ports opened.

In my mind's eye I thought I remembered only 2 or 3 exhausts ports opened, but looking at a few blocks in the attic I see it is the intake on a few. May be the MAC15 only had 2 exhaust ports opened...?

Put a rope in the 1-71 and it has spark put a little gas in it and it popped I’ll still be vac/pressure testing but was curious if it had spark. Got the 10-10 automatic rewind repaired and it runs well but did rev up slightly higher when tipped into felling position bus stayed running but I’m thinking I may put seals in that also. I’m assuming the 10 series saws all use the same seal set? So I can order like a half dozen and just change them all?

The 54 and 57cc models use the same seals as the 600 Series, 67096 on the FW side and 110260 on the PTO side. FY side seal sits beside the 67905 bearing.

The larger displacement 10 Series saws use 61618 on the FW side, presses into the wide outer race of the 63429 bearing.
