The Dekalb is knocking it out of the park on the test weight.

I have hauled off about 8000 bu. & it’s averaging 61.7 test weight, it’s still carrying moisture but for going in around June 1 that’s not surprising.

You’re running a little heavy according to dot 😂
Those are more like suggestions until they actually get their scales out.

The auger cart seats are like a merry go round, you never know who is in them or how much you are getting.

I am thinking about looking at a John Deere 5075E that is local to me. Anybody got any insights on this series? 592 hrs, 75HP engine, cab, loader, MFWD. It is basically equivalent to the 5400's we are running now with just slightly a little more grunt.

What year ? The earlier flat top fender models had no emissions junk on them while the later rounder fendered ones had a goofy DOC and EGR system. Both good tractors but they can suffer from goofy hydraulic issues like most of the 5XXX series machines Deere has made. My 5510 has had all kinds of dumb hydraulic things go goofy on it from the pickup screen plugging to the boots cracking on the external low pressure suction lines and the SCV control valves blowing O-Rings out the sides for some strange reason.

I keep fixing it and tell anyone that asks it’s given me 14,000ish trouble free hours. Who knows, maybe I’ll sell it one day but probably not. I think I’ve spent more time with it than my wife the last 20yrs so it’s kind of part of the family 😂

2019. If I decide to buy it, it will be the newest driveable thing I own. We have two 5400's right now. Been going back an forth with bank in emails, but I guess I will need to find a way to walk in and talk to them. Only reason dealing with them is to increase credit rating. I may tell them to piss off and get a loan on my 401k so I can pay interest to myself rather than a bank.

Clean tractor. Only thing I don't like is that it is obvious that he has been driving on pavement. Wore out the rears and have been replaced, fronts will last a bit longer.

If you don’t want to prick around with the local bank you can likely finance it thru Deere, if that’s a route you care to explore.

Sometimes they offer pretty low interest rates.
Its an individual selling so I wouldn't think Deere would do a loan. I can also check with local Farm Credit office.

Good morning folks. 19f now and lite snow maybe 0.25" so far, and for our day getting to 26f with maybe 2..00" total.
Damm it just might get to look a bit like X-Mas after all. Our yard was back to green last evening before it got dark.

OOPs wrong tab. Haha, it's what happens b4 the coffee refill
