Did you get it?
Looking at payment options before I decide. Found a new unsold 2023 5075E two wheel drive for $2000 more with a bit of a warranty in Clinton. Dad may go have a look for me tomorrow. Its listed under make offer need to move so I am wondering what buying outright or financing through them will let them do for the price. Weighing differences in two wheel drive and MFWD prices and whether I need that in a cab tractor since we have an open station MFWD.

Whatever decision you make, I need to borrow it for awhile 😂

Damn bank sent me a letter just ahead of Christmas. They are raising my rate from 4.75% to 7.125%
Will you be earning higher interest or paying? My bet is paying, why have an ARM?

In your benefit? Or against
Much to their benefit.
They were a local bank that was based in a neighboring Iowa town of 22,000. I have had deposits with them for my entire life and various loans for almost 30 years. When I wanted to go look at a rental property or land at auction they just told me to let them know if I bought it. We would then work on the gritty details. For a few years I would go to the monthly GSA government vehicle auction looking for vans/trucks. The GSA boys required a signed letter of credit before they would even issue you a bidding number. I would just email the bank a week ahead of the sale and then stop by a day or two ahead of the sale and get the letter of credit.

In 2021 they were bought up/merged with a large chain of banks and all sheit broke loose. They started slashing staff and forcing folks to retire or pound salt. They started rolling back what type of loans they wrote and closed branches. I only had one real estate loan left with them as all others had been paid off . When I was buying rental houses I dealt with Teresa S. She was the head of commercial lending. She was good but she was also a bit slick so you had to watch her. By the time the bank as merged in late 2021 I did not have any loans with her but I still had one ag land loan with Steve E. He was great. I never had an issue with him. Well he called me right after January 1, 2022 and told me he was "retiring" and that Teresa would temporary be taking over his book of business. He said I needed to sign new loan paperwork. I was busy and he said he would prefer to come to me anyway. He and Teresa came out and I signed it on the hood of his truck. He was very somber and it was obvious the bank had told him to retire. He was well into retirement age but still you could tell he did not want to do it at least not on his terms. In any event not to be political but he knew the political winds coming in banking and just said "sign these, we are giving the a helluva good rate". Well I thought it was a 5 year ARM but apparently it was a 3 year. By the way the bank never replaced him. I have tried contacting Teresa several times in 3 years and she does not reply. When I got this letter I emailed her and no reply. It is on a annual basis payable by December 31. That morning I went up the street to the bank I have my checking account with and got the money in cash. Since she did not reply I figured I would give them a bit of a FU and wait until 11;58AM on December 31 to make the 2024 payment. I paid them in cash on 12/31/24 a couple minutes ahead of noon. I asked to speak with Teresa but she was "unavailable". She needs to retire

That sure is pretty, congratulations on finally getting a cab tractor. Spoiled yourself for once!
Thanks, spent too many days on an open station in the rain, sleet, snow, etc. Got told by a friend of mine that it will never be as clean as it is now.

Throttle control moved to side and easier to control over the foot feed. Nice that I can do most of everything with my hands without having to clutch every time. Power reverser only requires clutch when shifting range, otherwise you don't need to use it. I use it for close work like backing into a bale for putting onto the unroller.
