I think there’s a real old one of a 372 noodling 36” as well.

Probably said it before…I like the idea of a ported 70cc LW 36”, maybe skip for felling…not necessarily bucking, just the 3 cuts for felling. Once it’s on the ground to be turned into firewood…3120!

Some have hydraulic pole saws that are powered by the bucket truck’s hydraulics.

Philbert

We just drove out to the east end of the island and there is another Asplund crew out there with an older rig and the bucket has a hydraulic pole saw setup with a rack down the arm to hold the pole and the whole nine yards

Looks exactly like the picture, just older and well used

Not sure how I never saw it before because these 2 crews start at one end of their assigned territory and cut along the power lines until they get to the end of their territory and then they go back to square one and start over again

5 days a week, every week, year round, rinse and repeat

I been by them hundreds of times in the truck and on my bike and never noticed anything but the Stihls the ground crews are running

I'm done, derail completed, my sorry...

From what I can tell it cuts as fast or faster than round and is easier to sharpen. It bore cuts good too according to the videos. A LOT of people pay $7-10 for a chain sharpening; so, depending on the price and durability of the files, this chain system is a win for a lot of people. I will most likely try it when it is available, at least one chain and one file, why not?

Wilhelm says: i can take orders, and send them out.

then i say: yes i can maybe.

then he: You must not send out containers full of Hexa stuff, but if a Stihl Fan would have one, he will be happy if i send him.

Those are hydraulic powered saws, we use them @ the power company. They run off the trucks hydraulic tool circuit.

I sent an email today to my parts people to see if I can get a hold of the Hexa stuff. Busy with olive harvesting this month so I haven't put a lot of time into finding these.
