Hi guys,

Since I didn't find a thread about this topic and am not aware how many still visit the other forum, I just wanted to share what rumors are going on in Europe about this saw.

Availability around fall 2017
No e carb but full injection system, similar to the cut off saws

I had not seen full injection! I do know that since the 461 is the basis for the "rescue" saw, there was concern about going MTronic (I hear it does not like smoke).

I am very encouraged that the Ver II of the 261 and 362 are so much lighter, was hoping for a saw with 460/461 displacement and 044/440 weight, with some addl performance (yea, I don't want much, right!).

I hear the 462 is pictured in the 2017 calendar???

I just hope what ever Stihl does it results in a 'better' saw not worse. The 461 is a solid reliable saw and needs to stay that way. Mtronic/AT systems are a stepping stone towards F/I saws, I hope its a saw pros want to use.
