Good for the self-confidence.

I just got back that Quacker State was 8 oz bottles for $2.29 .I bought 10 enough for 20 gallons of gas about what I use in a year .Plus 2 quarts of full synthetic motor oil for the Toro zero turn that only gets 25-30 hours in a year .

It’s bio bar oil. It’s required for a job I’m working near a river. It totally looks like jizz though. Which begs the question how many tree hugging hippies does it take to spooge a gallon of this stuff?
Ever try straight canola? Works pretty well surprisingly

It's still saw abuse no matter how you try and spin the narrative of how it got in there. LOL

Yeah I went the canola route before. I still use it in my climbing saws as this bio stuff is spendy. For this job the client supplied/required as part of the contract.

The only problem I ever had with the canola was it is a beitch to clean off the saw if I don’t wipe the saw down daily. Doubt that’s an issue for anyone not using their saws all day most days though.

I will say, this bio stuff is slicker than two eels forkin in a bucket of bacon grease rendered from a rented pig.

I used to use Motomaster semi synthetic (Sold at Canadian Tire) or Stihl Premium , 40:1 in my 2 older saws, and 32:1 in my 25 year old trimmer. This spring I switched to Red Armour at the same ratios. So far , noticeable reduction in smoke and plug fouling. Might just be a reflection on how crappy my "old" oil was performing.

Yes, that is my oil of choice for the past decade, @32 for all ported, @40 for all the rest.
Very little build up in the exhaust.
Yes, very nice exhaust port.

I pretty much mix up Red Armor for one gallon and Dominator for the next. 40:1. But I don't burn nearly as much gas as most around here.
Both very high quality oils . Have used both in numerous saws . Never had a problem within any properly tuned & operated saw .
