So what's the current two stroke oil favorite?

I have been adding Honda HP2 oil to Stihl MotoMix and converting it to 32:1 since my saw was brand new. It’s an amazing oil! Odorless when running because of the fuel type. My saw is a manual carb Stihl 261 I bought new last year, I pulled the muffler off yesterday and the piston and cylinder don’t have a single mark on them. Hour meter shows 6 hours run time now. Exhaust port was very clean!

My high speed adjustment on the carb is all the way open as rich as it can go, saw still revvs to 14,600 while pulling the 20” bar/chain on it. It is a BEAST of a saw. I’d have to remove the limiters on the carb to richer it up enough to drop the RPM’s or get it to 4 stroke.

I just keep the air filter and saw crazy crazy clean, and I think it’s probably gonna last forever. Been over a year since I got it, and I’m super happy with it. It just starts/idles/runs so well.

I know some people like it but following guys that I rode sled with burning klotz made me sick. That crap just hangs in the cold and everyone behind you gets plenty of time to smell it.

I love the smell. Won’t run it saws consistently, just once in a while to get nostalgic. Takes me back to the motocross races when I was a pup.

I've put 1oz of the bean to a full tank of fuel to add that special fogging of the pack while riding.

Several times after flogging past trail-side warming - rehydrading areas it was asked what type a race fuel was being run in that Sport-Indy leading the pack.
There was a 530cc 120+hp AC liquid sno-pro motor under the cover. Much fun in the day.
An extremely light sled with some giddy-up. Suspension and drive line came out of a 800RMK.

The candle smells like R50 exhaust. Haven’t lit it yet. Wife hates it, .

I love the smell of super techniplate. Although it leaves alot to be desired performance wise.

I didn’t like super techniplate or benol in chainsaws but there were some fellas here that claimed to love it. Benol and cold temperatures don’t mix that was several years ago (6-7) Fouled the plugs in the saw and had to shut down for the afternoon. This was running benol. Assuming the fuel wouldn’t stay in suspension. Two saws failed that day. Returned with different mix the next day no further issues. I guess castor is notorious for that at a certain temperature. That week was brutal. Don’t recall actual temperature but it was below 20 in the day

Definitely not my favorite oil to use but it is my favorite to smell, lol.

INA Super 3 , 15W40

At 25:1 it worked for decades in the one 40cc saw this household had, processing firewood logs and cutting whatnot with painfully dull chains.
Engine, bearings, seals never gave up - it was the clutch that met its maker.

Sachs-Dolmar 105 , toughest saw I ever encountered.

Alot of those thick oils without a diluent will either not mix or seperate. All castor oils seperate in cold temps as well.
