On my way home from work my son calls. Dad the power company was here and cut down a bunch of tress in the front yard. I said I know they we're suppose to trim the trees. Nope they cut me down. Sure enough. One 16 ft trailer load full and more wood out there. I guess they didn't like trimming the trees they just cut them down. Looks like a great weekend or three weekend to clean it up.

We've been aerating putting greens the last 2 days, I've been shoveling plugs.

Have you ever tried vacuuming or plowing plugs?
I provide chainsaws to a private course with hundreds of big dead ash and they have some innovative ways to collect plugs over there :)
They suck them up on the greens and use small snow plows to move them about in the areas where it is ok if they crumble up a little bit.
I am amazed at all the equipment required to keep a course looking pristine.

I visited a crew today and tried to stay out of the way as they were cleaning and edging beds, 70 and sunny with a gentle breeze :)

The weather here was great today. Sunny and 80 here, I was happy to get out of the shop. We have a box that connects to the aerifier that pulls the plugs to the edge of the green and leaves a pile for us to scoop up. I tried to post a video but it was the wrong format.

Today I sandblasted landing gear legs for an airplane and then prepped them for paint. In between I was going over parts lists and checking off acquired inventory. Made some venison steak for supper and am putting up my feet now.

This morning, I hauled my buddies' logging equipment, the 240 Timberjack and 450 Case Skidsteer to the next bush with my company's transport truck.

I got to try the Timberjack for the first time and loaded it onto the trailer. It's an awesome old machine. Very well maintained.

Hauled 2 loads of freshly built bush hogs from the welding shop to the powder coat shop.

Had a large dinner, now back on OPE.....

It was gorgeous weather here today. And me? Me spent 13 hours staring at a computer screen frantically trying to get this inventory sorted out before I leave for Brazil. Quitting now until morning then more of the same. Grrrr!

Beautiful day here. I came home and worked on a 026 I'm rebuilding. New crank bearings and piston are installed. It's been on my shelf for a couple of years waiting.
