I recently had to pull a ford ignition that looked similar. It had small hole on the underside with a sprung catch. I pushed it up with a carb screwdriver and voila.

I probably pulled that ignition 10 times before I solved the wiring problem. Funny how easy fixes can take a lot of time.

You don't want to spoil too much the mechanic doesn't have such dilemmas / I'll make a mod tomorrow because you can't turn the key, good thing I was close

Even though it's an old car with a lot of electronics on the steering wheel, a thief would have been able to start it in 2 minutes, but an ordinary driver certainly wouldn't be able to do it.

Like most small towns in the Midwest ours has a "festival" they call Watermelon Days. Not sure why since we don't actually produce any watermelons in the area, but I did participate in the parade.

I prefer large OD logs, they do not move as much!

You do realize I am bucking 10ish meter long logs?!
And I have no heavy equipment for handling precut pieces, lest whole logs.



Bucking up a log pile is actually fun and very straightforward , as long as the logs aren't toothpicks - then it becomes a house of cards.

I live in the US: I have no idea what a ‘meter’ is, let alone 10 of them!

But you said they were moving: so pick up one end, and slide the low sawbuck under to stabilize.

Or cut them into (2), 5 ‘meter’ logs first, if too heavy.

1 meter ~3.3ft
10 meters ~33ft

That log pile is poorly stacked some 7ft high.
The thin logs move unexpectedly as I buck a completely different one just from the vibrations - several dozed thin OD logs beginning to move usually causes a cascade reaction and an avalanche like cave in.
Large OD logs do not do that.

I place my left foot on the log I buck to keep it from moving.

I also don't recognize their wood measurement as 1 cord if this is a good translation / But I guess it's about the length of a stack of a specific dimension?
