I almost got to the ignition switch Octavia II It is still held by 1 shear bolt

I recently had to pull a ford ignition that looked similar. It had small hole on the underside with a sprung catch. I pushed it up with a carb screwdriver and voila.

I probably pulled that ignition 10 times before I solved the wiring problem. Funny how easy fixes can take a lot of time.

You don't want to spoil too much the mechanic doesn't have such dilemmas / I'll make a mod tomorrow because you can't turn the key, good thing I was close
