I had to peel this off my window this morning. I live across from a game land parking lot. On July 14th this guy thought it was cool to beat on a what I’m guessing was a two year old after dragging him through the mountains on a 95 degree day. He almost got his own beating.

I wonder if he's a relative of mine? My great Grandma's maiden name was Burkholder. She was from PA as well.

Every time I install one of these I say I’ll never do another. Everything goes good until you have to run the nuts onto the carriage bolts through the bed. I have over an hour to do the front two above the fuel tank. Put a welding magnet on the top, one long needle nose to hold the washer and another to fight to get the nut to spin. I’m four hours into this. There was a gooseneck setup that I had to lift the bed to remove so that burned an hour. Instructions say install time is 40 minutes.

Put another one of these ugly bumpers on one of these fugly trucks. This gen is easier than the last one but it takes time. Westin doesn’t make the damper relocation brackets right so he has to drive this and see if it trips an error before I put the lights on.

To be honest I like those bumpers and those trucks.

A 1980-1986 Ford F250 is a sweet looking truck. Too bad come 1987 they ruined it.

I started tig welding today - I got a deciated ac/dc tig and just learning the very basics. Initially without filler then the last two with.

Unfortunately I have put off tig welding because everywhere you read people say it’s incredibly difficult. However tricky even the basics are, everything is difficult when you start out. Piano, speaking another language, painting. Many things have a learning curve. Don’t let it put you off starting, I wish I did ages ago.

My experience learning TIG has been that it’s more expensive than difficult. I get better every time I do it but the tanks get empty too fast.

I nailed hardwood flooring. Then ported a couple of 500i jugs. Then hauled hay. Then cleaned up more flooring. Now I'm fughing off.

I had the passenger side window on my 04 quit coming up. I was able to take the motor apart the shaft had rusted and was dragging, which would trigger the circuit breaker. Sanded it and reinstalled that was 10 years ago
