Had to take the youngest to the doctors, she has a bad cough and didn't rest the last few nights. Then came home and cut the grass and trimmed fence.

This was on Thursday, clearing a 9 acre lot. Burnt about half of the slash in half a day.

Played paint kickball with a bunch of 20 and 30 year olds; pulled my hamstring, cracked a rib diving for the ball, and got sunburned....all good!!!

Made some aluminum mandrel yesterday on the lathe. Today I surfaced my 4 jaw adapter and installed it on the lathe, and made some 4 jaw blocks to attach cylinders for turning squish bands.

I've been running a ported, but not cut, 066 cylinder I got from a friend. I chucked it up in my 4 jaw and took .045 out of the band



Replaced the 3 jaw and dialed in my 54mm mandrel

Then I turned the base down to set squish

Takes awhile to set up for turning squish bands, but base cuts only take 15 minutes from start to finish.

Replaced a starter on a Deere 5075E this morning.

Simple job it sounded like, however when you have a loader mount in the way, and loader.... it makes things extremely tedious lol.

Tried everything to jump tge starter to make life easier with no prevail.

2 hrs later she starts and runs again.

Today was a great day!!! Our sons daycare was closed for the day so instead of finding alternate care we both took the day off and made it a long weekend. The weather was outstanding, we got some pool time, some park time, visited my mom in the nursing home and then went for ice cream. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day (without running saws...)
