In my case…I am not sure why folks are having to restart fires in their boilers. Under ideal conditions I start one fire in the fall and that is it. Of course it is never ideal and I have to restart it once or twice.
I guess I am not sure what type of boiler you have.In my case…
With storage I don’t have to have a fire all day. 6 hours today wide open no smoke.

A gasification boilerI guess I am not sure what type of boiler you have.
Many years ago there was a guy on "the other site" that built his own boiler and flywheel splitter. I often wonder how he made out. I believe he went by django.A gasification boiler
I built the system with storage for better efficiency and so I don’t have to have a fire going 24/7 all winter long
