Today I ran a tank of fuel through the HT101 pole pruner and 2 tanks of fuel through Groundi's MS180. I was pruning trees and cutting up apple wood. We have an orchard that's been neglected and I'm doing some aggressive pruning to try to bring it back. (apple and peach trees)
Groundi pruned grapes while I ran the saws. We finally have all the grapes done but more work needed on the trees. After two hours we were both used up. We'll give it another go later.
Now, back to paperwork. Grrrr!

Walked out of the stihl dealer disgusted ,,$30 for each ring on a ms660, ordered a meteor kit for less!!!
WTF made me mad!!!

So like $60 for a set of piston rings? That's crazy! A set for a Chevy 350 V-8 is only $30.00 or less delivered to your door for name brand. (that's all 8 cylinders worth)

I just hate walking in the door, as I always walk out mad and empty handed!!
I just wont go there anymore!! Maybe they will go broke!!
$28 each plus 12% tax $31.35 each!! Total $62.70

Today I was trimming oak trees from a roof with the Marvin pole pruner. At one point I had all 4 sections on for a long reach. I'm pretty bushed but pleased with how much wood I got on the ground. Then I cleaned the gutters for the third time on this same property in the last several months. It should be better with less tree over the roof.

Bucked up the larger branches with Groundi's MS180C and hauled a trailer load home.

Next time we go to that property will be with the chipper and dump trailer.

Today I finnished programming and commissioning changes to the entire water management pump system for a coal mine
Came home and am now sitting in my balcony in 38 deg C heat drinking beer while fighting off flies

Might even go jump in the pool later on

I had to send two V2 ZigZag devices back to Petzl for replacement with the V3 units, got the second one back yesterday, so put it on my mini-DdRT-setup. Gotta say, Petzl has great customer services. Then, having broken down and finally bought a GoPro camera, I got that installed on a new climbing helmet I put together over the winter. Then, decided I needed an Android tablet PC to run the thing without fiddling around trying to push buttons while it's on my head. So, off to my cell phone provider to add more GigaButtHertzBytes to my data plan and got a Samsung 4G tablet. Then, tried to mount the GoPro on the dog... that didn't work out well. I need to make some kind of harness so it stays on the TOP of the dog, and pointing forward. Nobody wants to see video of a dog's balls bouncing around.

All in all, a nice day... snow is melting away (it hit about 60*F)... and the dog hasn't come near me for hours.

I wonder how much a monkey would cost.

Hahahahah I just realized

It has to suck waking up on a Friday morning in the freezing cold looking at a picture of some bastard who has already worked his Friday and is now sitting in a pool drinking beer looking forward to Saturday morning in a few hours!

It's a hard life in Australia...

I see that you're dealing with the hardships and struggles very well. I'm not sure I could handle the stress of drinking by the pool, knowing a crocodile or something poisonous might be joining me any minute! ;)

rebuilt a carb on a saw, did a muffler mod. Went and rounded up some parts. Pulled off to take care of other personal business.
