Secured a deal today with a local sawmill to buy all their unwanted smaller timber for firewood and use part of there land as a firewood lot, came at a great time as my current firewood lot has been sold for housing development.

Nice truck,too nice to be a wood hauler IMO .What ever happened to a plain old 3/4 ton single cab with an 8 foot bed .Bench seats, rubber floor mats .You just don't see them any more .Dang things are more like a Lincoln than they are truck .A truck is a tool like a chainsaw or a claw hammer .

We use an 83 F350. Ain't even got a heater.

Ha , had a Chevy 86 HD 3/4 ton as describe ran it for 13 years before frame gave out , with racks on bed could carry a cord of green Oak would hardly squat , had a stack of springs that would embarrass trucks these days , best truck I ever owned,

That old 1977 Ford 250 in my woods I had beefed up the springs.That one set me back $900 about 130,000 miles ago .It's got 263,000 but it's tired

I love my truck. Had it since new , now has 313,000 mikes on it. I have 2002 as well with just over 90k on it. We keep that as a spare.
