Started winterizing my equipment. Filled up the mower with non ethanol so it'll get into the fuel system when I do my last cut next weekend. Dumped the pump fuel out of my trimmer, brush cutter and blower and filled them with some non ethanol premix and let them run for a few minutes. Used the trimmer for my last trim too. Next weekend the mower will get an oil and filter change and a new fuel filter.

Well after hauling 62 cords of firewood in my f250 this fall, the TTB independent front axle gave up the ghost. Did this today, pulled the whole dog gone thing out and installed the solid axle dana 60 from a f350 dually. Yea I'm beat right now.20221024_124333.jpg 20221024_155151.jpg

Hey now you need duals in the rear lol
Well that's a delima in itself. I actually have a limited slip 10.25 corporate ford dually rear end but it's from a cab chassis truck so the sucker is narrow. Gonna have to cut and reweld spring perches, but then the dually wheels will hit the springs. Just gonna have to run single on the rear, looks goofy but still functional.

You can’t take the spacer off?

Worked on the truck. Coming home last night and my temp gauge is sitting on 160 and I can hear the fans screaming. Get home, shut truck off and fans are on blender speed!!! Yank the fuses. Did some Google searches and had to replace the coolant temperature sensor. Fairly easy and inexpensive repair, thankfully the hands were actually working well today.
