So what did you do today?

Super quick touch-up on a Hyway 372BB with popup. 0.032" of the base, raised primaries 2.5 degrees (or thereabouts), a little blending at the lowers. Not a lot up high, but tons of grunt. Took about 3 hrs start to finish.

Finally built some better shelving and organized my ope equipment so it doesn’t sit in the garage floor in the place I last used it. Plus the saws look better strung up nice.

Might be cheaper and faster to just purchase a "plastic" block off eBay!

I am liking this grinder despite its flaws.

Sawed some 2x8x14 cedar for the barn.

Tested three chains.
My MAXX grinder sharpened Stihl Rapid Duro 3 carbide chain, performed fairly well.
And two new, and new to me chains, another carbide chain and a full chisel chain - both performed acceptable and I think I can improve on the factory grind.



My last test log, oak, is now too short and too buried under the much larger turkey oak logs.
I won't be able to play/test buck till I free up a certain length of it.

Where did you buy that grinder, I see it sharpens right and left
in the same direction, as opposed to a lot of sharpeners that sharpen
one cutter from on direction and the other from the opposite direction.
