In short no. It’s a real shame. Engine only has 400 hours on it. There’s good parts there for sure but they won’t get harvested until the engine goes in for rebuild. Then they’ll all get inspected and “overhauled” and tagged OK for service before they can be used .
Crankshafts are in very short supply right now. Engine manufacturers won’t sell you parts because they anticipate needing them themselves. They will pay $5k for any engine core to get a shot at the crank. And it may not be serviceable. What a market to have to play in.

Did some milling, it was too bright in the sun to cut hackberry with the glare so I switched to walnut.

Unfortunately, this tree had center rot and I had to work around it. Turns out it was also an ant condominium, they were scurrying everywhere. The remaining cant broke in half when I tossed it off the mill.

They’ll start to rot and get all that color in them as they sit, need to time it right so they’re not soft but still spalted.
